Emilee McCoy

Librarian

Mrs. McCoy is the librarian and photography mentor. She is the oldest of 5 and spent her childhood in Holladay, UT. Mrs. McCoy found herself taking piles of books to bed as a child. Her mother read to her and her Dad would tell her stories of his own creation, Willie the Rabbit. Her mother opened a scrapbook store in her basement when Emilee was a teen. It was then that she began her passion for capturing memories through photography, design and layout. She earned her degree in Elementary Education and also received a School Library Media Endorsement from Utah State University. When Emilee isn't at school she loves making hand stitched pillows, polymer clay creations, and riding her bike. Her greatest joy is being a mother of 2 and the step children of 4. She and her husband love road trips and sharing their passion of photography together. Paul Sweeney put into words her exact sentiment, "You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend.” ― Paul Sweeney
